4y=-2x-1
y=-2x/4-1/4
y=-x/2-1/4 the Y intercept is (0,-1/4)
0=-x/2-1/4
-x/2=1/4
-4x=2
x=2/-4
x=-1/2 the X intercept is (-1/2,0)
Proof:
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -3 to 3, y from -3 to 3, -x/2 -1/4).
