Solve for y.
2x + 3y = 6 --> y = (-2/3)x + 2
The coefficient of x is the slope, m = -2/3
Negative slope goes douwn to the right, \ like that.

Another, 2x - 3y = 6 --> y = (2/3)x - 2
m = +2/3
Positive slopes go up to the right, / like that.
