graph the inequality y < x squared+7x+6
------------------
Graph y = x^2 + 7x + 6
It's a parabola that "opens upward"
The inequality < is all the area below it, which is outside the parabola, not including the line.

6 is the y-intercept. the formula is Ax( x is squared) +Bx+C C = 6 and is the y - intercept as said -B/A*2 so 7/1* 2= 7/2 then make negative so - 3 1/2 negative three and a half. That is the x yyou will use to find the vertex. so y= -3 1/2^2 + 7* -3 1/2 + 6. You get 12.25 + - 24.5+ 6. This adds up to -6.25. your coordinate is -3 1/2, -6 1/4 so the vertex of the parabula is - 3 1/2, -6 1/4. the y-intercept is 0,6. to find additional points substitute #s in for x like 0,1,2 I hope i helped. I'm sorry if i didnt if u dont no what a parabula is then google it, but if u do u know its the U shape created with an x^2

***** For the formula A=1 B=7 C=6
