Question 29479: "Find the center-radius form of the equation of the circle described. Then graph the circle, and give the domain and range."
"Center (-1,2), radius 3"
I know that the equation is (x+1)^2 + (y-2)^2 = 9
My problem is "What is the domain in interval notation?" and "What is the range in interval notation?" Thanks for any help!

well, centre is x=-1, y=2 and has radius =3

So, the x values vary from -4 to 2... 3 either side of -1 ( the centre)
and the y values vary from -1 to 5... 3 either side of 2 ( the centre).

Domain is -4 <= x <= 2
Range is -1 <= y <= 5
