Do the same thing for the other equation , setting x & y equal to 0. Unfortunately, you'll find that point (0,0) is a point on this line. So you'll need to convert the equation into point-slope form. Rewritting as:
subtract 3x from both sides:
Multiply both sides by -1.
So you graph a line with a y-intercept and a slope of 3.
When you're done it should look like:

Now look to where they intersect, it looks like point (1,3) so the answer to the equation is: x=1, y=3...
