Question 286263: graph the inequality on a plane.
5x + 6y 'is less than or equal to' 30
I am sure this is a simple solution, but I am terrible with finding the answers...the graphing part I'm ok with?? Thank you in advance. Found 2 solutions by richwmiller, stanbon:Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Good because all you have to do is graph. Have fun.
BTW
5x + 6y 'is less than or equal to' 30
5x + 6y <= 30

-------------------
Graph the EQUALITY, which is the boundary of the INEQUALITY:
5x+6y = 30
y = (-5/6)x + 5
--------------------
Plot points (0,5) and (6,0) and
draw a line thru them.
---------
Shade the half-plane BELOW the boundary because
you want the y-values LESS THAN the boundary line y-values.
