Question 27036: I'm having trouble with these type of problems. Could you help explain it.
3x-5(3x-7)=2(x+9)+45

Answer by longjonsilver(2297)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x-5(3x-7)=2(x+9)+45
3x-15x+35 = 2x+18+45
-12x+35 = 2x+63
-14x+35 = 63
-14x = 28
x = 28/(-14)
--> x = -2
