y= mx+b

first find the slope
(y-y)/(x-x)=m the slope
y=mx+b
plug in your new m
and one set of x and y to find b
then plug in your new m and new b into y=mx+b
and you are done
your new equation should like y=3x+4 but with different numbers

slope = (5--5)/(1--1) = 10/2 = 5

Form is y = mx +b
You know m and that y = 5 when x = 1
Solve for "b":
5 = 5*1 + b
b = 0
--------------------
Equation:
y = 5x
