Question 257979:
Solve the equations by substitution.
x - y = 6
x = y + 2
x = ?
y = ?

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x - y = 6
x = y + 2
Replace x with (y+2) in the first equation & solve for y
(y+2)-y=6
y-y=6-2
0=4 no solution.
