Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x + y = -2 multiply by -1 & add.
x+y=5
-2x-y=2
----------------------
-x=7
x=-7 ans.
2*-7+y=-2
-14+y=-2
y=-2+14
y=12 ans.
(-7,12) is the intersection.
Proof:
-7+12=5
5=5
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -8 to 5, y from -10 to 14, of TWO functions -2x -2 and -x +5).
