I need help on graphing systems of inequalities.
How would you graph y>2 and y>-x+2
----
You NEVER graph an inequality directly.
You 1st of all graph the EQUALITY which is
the boundary of the inequlity.
-----
Your Prolem:
y>2
1st: Graph y = 2 as a dashed line.
2nd: Shade the half-plane above the boundary since
you want y to be greater than the boundary y-values.
-----------------
============================================================
y > -x+2
1st: Graph y = -x+2 as a dashed line.
2nd: Shade the half-plane above the boundary since
you want y to be greater than the boundary y-values.
