Question 25224: I'm not sure what to shade in when I graph inequalities, when I plug in the points (0,0) and they make the statement true, do I shade in the side that has (0,0) as a point??? I'm so confused!!! We have a mid-term coming up...PLEASE HELP!!!
Answer by elima(1433) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have it right! Any pair that makes the statement true is shaded.
And remember, if the inequality is "equal to and greater than", the line is solid,
if the inequality is "greater than" or "less than" the line is dotted.
GOOD LUCK on your exam!
