Draw the graph of the line of the "equality" (change the inequality to an equals sign). Then test a point on each side of the line to see if the inequality holds. If the inequality holds for any point on one side of the line that side of the line represents the solution set for the inequality. The line itself is part of the solution set if the inequality is either >= or <=.
