You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The easiest way to draw a line is to find the X & Y intercepts.
y=3x-5
0=3x-5
3x=5
x=5/3 ans. for the X intercept.
y=3*0-5
y=-5 ans for the Y intercept.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 3x -5 is the equation of a line.
Pick two values of x and solve for y in each case. Then draw the line that passes through the two points.
For example when x=0, y = 3*0 - 5 = -5. So (0,-5) is a point on the line.
Choose another value for x and determine the corresponding value for y.
Now that you have two points on the line you can draw the line through them.
