Question 245563: slope intercept form through: (-5,-2), parallell to y=x-1
Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(-5,-2), parallell to y=x-1
y=x-1 has a slope=1
Y=mX+b
-2=1*-5+b
-2=-5+b
b=-2+5
b=3 ans. for the y intercept.
Y=X+3 ans for the parallel line through (-5,-2)
