y+6=3/2(x-4)

I just don't understand how I am supposed to graph the equation when it is not in slope intercept form.

y+6=3x/2-3/2*4
y+6=3x/2-12/2
y+6=3x/2-6
y=3x/2=-6-6
y=3x/2-12
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 10, y from -15 to 10, of TWO functions 3x/2 -12).
