Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve by substitution:
1) Write this in terms of y:
1a) and substitute into equation 2) then solve for x.
2)
Simplify and solve for x.
Add 14 to both sides of the equation.
Divide both sides by 9.
Now substitute this value of x into equation 1a) and solve for y.
The solution is: (2, 3)
