Solve the equation for x or y.
6x-8y = 40
8y = 6x-40
y = 3x/4 - 5
Pick values for x and find y
x....y
0....-5 --> (0,-5)
4....-2 --> (4,-2)
Draw a line thru the 2 points.

To find the y-intercept, set x=0 and v.v.
(0,-5) y-int
(20/3,0) x-int
