Question 242120: how can i find the intersection points of y-3=x^2-4x and y=x-1.
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y-3=x^2-4x and y=x-1.
Graphing is the way to find the intersection points.
y-3=x^2-4x
y=x^2-4x+3 (red curve)
y=x-1 (green line)
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, of TWO functions x -1 and x^2 -4x +3).
Intercepts are (1,0) & (4,3)
