Question 241003: how do you graph a fraction on a 4 quadrant graph?
Answer by nyc_function(2741) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Fractions are between whole numbers.
For example, between 0 and 1, we find 1/4, 1/2, 3/4.
To graph (2, 1/2), start at the origin and move two places to the right on the x-axis. Then move 1/2 units up on the y-axis and plot your point there.
Understand?
By the way, plot decimal numbers the same way we plot fractions.
Can you plot this point for practice (3.4, 6)?
