Question 238442: How do I solve y=-x+3 y=x+1
Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since they both equal y, set them equal to each other and solve for x.
-x+3=x+1
-2x=-2
x=1
Now go back to either equation and solve for y.
y=x+1
y=1+1
y=2
(x,y)=(1,2)
