Question 238419: y= x-3
y= 1/7x+3

Answer by Fombitz(32388)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since they both equal y set them equal to each other.
x-3=(1/7)x+3
Multiply by 7 to get rid of the fraction.
7x-21=x+21
6x=42
x=7
Then use either equation to solve for y.
y=x-3
y=7-3
y=4
(x,y)=(7,4)
