Question 238171: I always get confused with numbers and variables.

2x+5y=25
Is there an easier way?

If this is a linear equation then:
2x+5y=25 subtract 2x from both sides.
5y=-2x+25 divide by 5.
y=-2x/5+25/5 reduce 25/5
y=-2x/5+5 line equation.
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 15, y from -10 to 10, -2x/5 +5).
