Question 23780: What is the slope and y-intercept of this equation:
3y+5x=3

Answer by elima(1433)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First of all but the equation in slope-intercept form;
y=mx+b
3y+5x=3
subtract 5x from both sides;
3y=3-5x
3y=-5x+3
Divide 3 from both sides;
=+
y=x+1
So your slope would be;

And the y-intercept;
1
Hope you understand
