Question 234165: ((( Find the slope of the line passing through the points (0,4) and (-10,9) )))
I did the math to find the slope and got (13)/(-10) My question is can it be written as -13/10 for the slope format?
Answer by nyc_function(2741) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let m = slope
m = difference of y's divided by the difference of x's
m = (9 - 4)/(-10 - 0)
m = 5/-10
m = -1/2
The slope is -1/2.
