Your period for this trig function is pi.
This means that the graph of your trig function will repeat itself every pi units without end to the left and right of the origin on the x-axis.
To find the phase shift, set (2x - pi) between 0 and 2pi and solve for x.
0 ≤ 2x - pi ≤ 2pi
