The y-intercept is ALWAYS where x=0. So, if x=0, then y = -10. As an ordered pair, this is (0,-10).

When the equation is in this form, it is easiest to graph by graphing the x and y intercepts. The x-intercept is where y=0. If y=0, then x=-10. Graph these two points, and connect the dots. The line should look like this:
