Question 21637: it would help me so much if maybe u can explain to me how to do this problem
-5-8f>59 it would help me out so much thanks !

Answer by queenofit(120)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First start your problem as if the > is an = sign. it is the same concept.
Get your "teams" on each side. I find it easier to call numbers a team and variables a team....
so you will have
-8f>59+5 follow me????
-8f>64 now you divide each side by -8
f>-8 if you divide by a negitive, you have to flip the sign
f<-8
