my first one is, how do you figure out the function of a graph that
is not linear besides plugging in values for x?
My second one is, how do you figure out what the end behavior of a graph is??
and what is an asymtope?

1) You have to plug them in or use a graphing calculator.

2) Asymptote= a straight line that is closely approached but never touched by a curve.
Take 1/(x+1) for example (the graph below). X can never be -1 (the vertical asymptote) because division by zero is not allowed. The end behavior of the function as x becomes very large (or very small) is that the lines get very close to the horizontal asymptote but never touch it. Note that there is a horizontal asymptote at y=0 also.
