Question 21410: How do I find the X or Y intercept?
Answer by elima(1433)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In an equation you will find the x-intercept by letting y=0; and you find the y-intercept by letting x=0.
ex. 3x+2y=12
Let y=0
3x+2(0)=12
3x=12
x=4
x-intercept=4
Let x=0
3(0)+2y=12
2y=12
y=6
y-intercept=6
Hope you understand
