Subtract + 1 from each side:
+ xy + 1 =+ 0
- 1 - 1
+ xy =- 1
Plot this point on your graph
y-x+3=0
Subtract + 3 from each side:
+ y - x + 3 =+ 0
- 3 - 3
Divide each side by - 1 .
+ y - x =- 3
-------- ----
- 1 - 1
- y + x =+ 3
