you get y< 2x +6
Now graph; but where does it shade?
What I do is pick a point not on the line.
0,0 is not on that line; so plug 0 for x and 0 for y.
0 < 2(0) + 6
0<6
it is true, 0 IS less than 6. so i shade TOWARD the AREA which CONTAINS the point (0,0)
Thus, i shade right.
