Divide both sides of the inequality by -9. Remember that very important rule, that when you divide or multiply both sides of an inequality by a NEGATIVE number, you must REVERSE the inequality sign!

To solve this, divide both sides by -9:
IMPORTANT!!! Note that the inequality changed from '>' to '<'. Any time you multiply or divide an inequality by a negative number, the direction flips. Just something to remember.
To graph it, draw a number line with an open circle around 4 and an arrow pointing to the left of it (open circle since it's '<' and not '<=').
