you can use any points you like....obviously the lower numbers you pick the easier it will be to figure the unknown variable
:
for instance if x=0 then y=7 ....easy to see in your head
:
if x=1 then it is a little harder but you can add 7 to 3/4 in your head if you want.
:
for x=5---->y=5(3/4)+7=15/4+7=15/4+28/4=43/4=10 3/4

you should only have to plot 3 or 4 points to get an accurate picture of your graph which is a line in this case.

later for more complicated equations you may have to plot more points
