Question 17628: {x^2-3}=2x
Answer by pwac(253) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
subtract 2x from both sides and re-arrange terms:
a quadratic equation that factorises easily to:
(x+1)(x-3)=0
x+1=0
x=-1
x-3=0
x=3
If you do not understand what I've done look at lessons on simplifying
