how do you change -2x=2y+5 into slope-intercept form?
---------
You solve for y.
-2x=2y+5
2y = -2x - 5
y = -x -5/2
That's it.
m = -1
b = -5/2

The "slope-intercept" form is:
y = mx + b
where
m is slope
b is y-intercept
.
-2x=2y+5
-2y-2x = 5
-2y = 2x + 5
y = (2/-2)x + (5/-2)
y = -x + (-5/2)
