How do you graph f(x)= (x-4)squared?
-----------------------
You get as many points as you need on graph paper, then connect them.
To get the points, or ordered pairs, enter a value for x and calculate f(x). Call f(x) y for convenience.
y = (x-4)^2}}
x = 0: y = 16
x = 1: y = 9
x = 2: y = 4
x = 3: y = 1
etc.
If you have Excel, use it to calculate the points. Excel will also produce a graph.
