38+5.50y=5.10y+40.8
.4y=2.8----> pounds of pork to make the correct mixture

= price of kg of ground pork
= the price of 8 kg of ground beef
= the price of all the meat used
= kg of all the meat used
It is given that the price per kg of the mixture is $5.10

Mulltiply both sides by
