how do i graph this on a cordinate plane.?
4x < -20
-------------
Graph istwith an equal sign, then change it to all points less than.
4x < -20
4x = 20
x = 5
-------------
This is a straight line with x = 5 regardless of the value of y. So it's a vertical line parallel to the y-axis thru the point (5,0).
-------------
Then for the inequality, it's all the space to the "left" of that line.
