Question 151931: Dear Tutor,
I really need help on this question and I have no idea how to start it:he inequality having the shaded region as its graph is:
(A) y>-3x+12
(B) y (is greater than or equal to) -3x+12
(C) y<-3x+12
Answer by mangopeeler07(462) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(A)
(B)
(C)
First, graph the line for each EQUATION (that means, change them from inequalities to equations, with an equals sign). Then for more than, as in (A) , dot the line and shade the part of the graph that lies ABOVE that line.
For greater than or equal to, as in (B) , don't dot the line. Draw the line as normal, just shade the part of the graph that lies ABOVE the line.
Then for less than, as in (C) , dot the line and shade the part of the graph that lies BELOW that line.
