Question 148447: Verify that (-1,3) is a solution to y=(-1/2)x+(5/2)
Could you also please show how you got it.

Answer by nabla(475)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We are asking if:
3=(-1/2)(-1)+5/2
So,
1/2 + 5/2 =6/2=3...
So 3=3
It is a solution.
