y= mx+b
m = (1--7)/(-2-3) = 8/-5
--------------------------
You now have y,x, and m; solve for "b":
1 = (-8/5)(-2) + b
b = 1 - (16/5)
b = -11/5
---------------
EQUATION:
y = (-8/5)x - (11/5)
