Find equation of the line that passes through points (-4,-3) and (6,-1)

(-4,-3)(6,-1)
first we find the slope (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
(-1+3)/(6+4)
2/10=1/5 is the slope
now replace x & y in the line equation[Y=mX+b]with 1 set of coordinates:(-4,-3)
-3=-4/5+b
-3=-4/5+b
b=-3+1/5
b=(-3*5+1)/5
b=(-15+1)/5
b=-14/5 for the y intercept.
thus this line equation is:
y=x/5-14/5
