First, I am going to make an assumption that you are wanting help in graphing this equation. If that is incorrect, please accept my apologies.
I find that the easiest way to graph an equation to find a set of solutions is to put the equation into the Slope-intercept formula. This will give a slope and a definite y intercept point as a starting position.
To convert this equation to the Slope intercept formula With m being the slope and b being the y intercept coordinate, you need to isolate the y variable to one side.

Minus 6x from both sides
Equals

Divide both sides by 4 to isolate the y.
Problem converted to slope-intercept form.
Now that you have the equation in slope intercept form you can begin to graph the line that the equation represents.
First, you already have the Y intercept coordinates from the formula (0,4) so go ahead and graph that.
Next you have the rise/run of the slope in the formula. Rise of
-6, run of 4. At the point of your y intercept, go down 6 units, and then to the right 4 units and graph that point. Connect that point with your y intercept to graph the line. See the Graph below.
