Graph the equation x-y=6
Answer:
First rewrite the equation in the form, y = mx + c
That is .....
y = x-6
Now give arbitrary values for x and hence find the corresponding values of y
That is...
When, x = 6, y = 6-6 = 0
When, x = 5, y = 6-5 = 1
When, x = 4 y = 6-4 = 2
when x = 3, y = 6-3 = 3 and so on
The you will get the coordinators as follows...
(6,0), (5,1), (4,2), (3,3) and so on
Now plot these coordinates in the graph paper....then the graph will come like this...
