Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How would I write and graph an equation with slope -2 and y-intercept (0,0)?
-------------
y = mx + b is the slope-intercept equation form of a line.
Your slope is m = -2
Your intercept is b = 0
Your equation is y = -2x
--------------------------
Let x=0, then y = 0
Let x=1, then y = -2
Let x=2, then y = -4

You have three points: (0,0),(1,-2),(2,-4)
Plot the points and draw a line thru them to see your graph.
