Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(10x-1)/4 = (9x+3)/8
Multiply both sides by 8 to get:
2(10x-1) = 9x+3
20x - 2 = 9x + 3
11x = 5
x = 5/11
