If you were holding a U.S. penny, represented by the variable p, satisfying the minting date of this inequality, 1959 ≤ p ≤ 1981, you would notice that this single penny weighs exactly 3.11 grams. How many U.S. pennies would you need for a little more than 1 US ton of money?

A quick check search yields 1 ton is 907.18474 kg. One would assume that 1 us ton of money is all in those pennies described. You do the rest.
