Question 1174411: The total amount Mark paid for 4 pcs notebooks and 10 pcs ball pens is less than Php300. If
each notebook costs Php12, what is the maximum cost of each ball pen in the nearest peso?
A. Php 23 C. Php 24
B. Php 25 D. Php 26
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the 4 notebooks are 48P
that leaves 252 P maximum
divide that by 10
25 pens are 250 so the maximum cost of the pen is 25.
If it were 24, that would work but not maximum
if it were 26, it would be 308 Php.
