You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1) Y=mX+b WHERE (m)=SLOPE & (b)=Y INTERCEPT.
8.3X+4Y=16
4Y=-8.3X+16
Y=-8.3X/4+16/4
Y=-2.075X+4
thus we have a slope of -2.075 &
a y intercept of 4.

You need to get your equation into the slope-intercept form of a line.
y=mx%2Bb
3x%2B4y=16
4y=16-3x
y=4-%283%2F4%29x
y=-%283%2F4%29x%2B4
The coefficient in front of x, m, is the slope of the line.
m=-%283%2F4%29+
The number b is the y-intercept, the value at x=0; y=4.
